Transport Policy:
It is the policy of this company that road safety must be embraced and enshrined in all our operation so as to ensure the safety of life and property. As such, the following precepts apply to all our transport arrangement:
There shall be no night journey or interstate movement beyond 7:00pm All loaded consignments must be well fastened and tack to ensure it hold the items firmly and strongly.
The overall mechanical capacity and reliability must be duly checked to make sure the vehicle can achieve the target delivery under optimum and harsh condition when encountered.

Environmental Policy:
All operations of ZODIAK FREIGHT SERVICES shall be planned and executed in such a way as to minimize any adverse effects or impact on the environment. Such approach includes proper disposal of waste after clearance, careful handling of toxic material to avoid spills, studying and implementing the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Responsible parties shall be notified on wastes generated in the course of our operation so as to be collected, handled, treated or disposed of in an environmentally sound manner and with due consideration of the properties of such waste.
ZODIAK shall continue to promote and encourage plans, activities, and programs aimed at environmental preservation and protection. As all ZODIAK staff will be encouraged to pay appropriate regard to the environmental by protecting it from adverse effects.
Cashes Policy:
It is the philosophy of ZODIAK FREIGHT SERVICES that accidents/ injuries are preventable and therefore unacceptable in our operations. ZODIAK shall therefore integrate safety into our business and we vigorously pursue all accident prevention programmers through our well structured and effective CASHES systems. Will also ensure that the minimal impact our activities have on the environment remains minimal.
ZODIAK activities will therefore be organized, planned, and executed in such a manner as to:
- Project and promote the health of its work force as well as the conduct of its activities in such a manner not to adversely affect any third party (host community inclusive)
- Maintain cordial relationship with the host community during deliver and where necessary.
- Avoid injury to any worker, sub-contractor, or third party that are involved in or affected by ZODIAK activities especially during examination of cargoes, loading and off-loading.
- Minimize the impact on the environmental in which ZODIAK operates.
Every employee of ZODIAK shall works in accordance with this policy as supervisors are responsible for the enforcement of the policy.
The implementation of this CASHES policy is the responsibility of all supervisors under delegated control and coordination of the CASHES manager of ZODIAK FREIGHT SERVICES.
Occupational Health policy
All ZODIAK FREIGHT SERVICES staff encourages going for routine quarterly checks to make sure they are of sound health.
It is our intention to maintain insurance against any liability that may result in the event of any personnel suffering occupational disease or any impairment to health.
Drugs/Alcohol additions are not being allowed among staff during operation and staff is advice to regulate alcohol consumption. Furthermore, any Staff caught taking alcohol in the course off discharge of his or her duty would be dismissed immediately.
First Aid Box manned by a competent nurse must be provided for field operations. Records of medications, accidents, or injuries treated must be documented.
The enforcement of this policy shall be the responsibility of the supervisors.
